Thank you to our departing Head Coach - Julie Jansz

As Julie Jansz steps away from her role as Head Coach of the Flyers Swim Team and begin a well‑earned retirement, we would like to acknowledge and celebrate her outstanding contribution to our club over the past three (3) years as part of her 20 year coaching career.

Julie’s leadership, dedication, and passion for swimming have had a lasting impact on our athletes, coaches, and broader club community. Her commitment to athlete development and team culture has helped shape Flyers into the strong and united team that it is today. Julie has led with professionalism, care, and an unwavering belief in her swimmers, inspiring confidence both on and off the pool deck.

It is particularly fitting that Julie’s time as Head Coach concludes while supporting our athletes at the Swimming Australia National Championships on the Gold Coast; a reflection of her continued commitment to the team right to the very end.

On behalf of everyone at Flyers & PARC, thank you Julie, for all you have given to the club. We wish you every happiness, good health, and fulfillment in your retirement, and we hope you take great pride in the legacy you leave behind. You will always remain part of the Flyers family.

Julies’ last day as Head Coach will be April 20th, however Julie has kindly agreed to continue to support the club in a Casual/Administrative capacity in the future. We will be hosting a small gathering following our Flyers Swim Team Race Night on Friday 22nd May from 5:15pm @ PARC Frankston - We hope to see you all there to celebrate the new season and show our appreciation for Julie!
